Foundational charter

The institutional anchor for our diaspora

Chartered across Tegucigalpa and Washington to preserve living memory, organize cross-border mutual aid, and prepare emerging generations for active civic stewardship.

Origins & assembly

Bridging ancestral soil and diaspora cities

Organized in 1998 by educators, legal advocates, and municipal leaders, the society established a permanent civic corridor connecting communities in San Pedro Sula with neighborhood coalitions in the United States.

Rather than treating heritage as stationary folklore, our founders formalized mutual aid networks and bilingual civil legal clinics that protect diaspora families while preserving regional documentary history.

Guiding principle

Our heritage is not a relic preserved under glass; it is the civic foundation that equips our youth to stand with integrity across borders.

Accountability & ethics

Binational oversight and nonpartisan ethics

Our fiduciary board consists of ten elected delegates evenly seated between municipal chapters in Honduras and regional diaspora councils in North America. Every program budget undergoes independent annual audits published openly for member review.

We operate with strict nonpartisan independence, ensuring all civic seminars, youth fellowships, and legal aid clinics serve Honduran families equally without political alignment or commercial sponsorship.
